2Spelling Rules for Regular Verbs (-ed)

- Standard: Walk -> Walked. - Ends in 'e': Live -> Lived (Just add 'd'). - Ends in 'y': Study -> Studied (Change 'y' to 'i'). - CVC (Stop): Stop -> Stopped (Double consonant).

3Pronunciation

- /id/ sound: Only if verb ends in T or D. (Wanted, Needed). - /t/ sound: Unvoiced endings (Walked, Helped). - /d/ sound: Voiced endings (Played, Showed).
